Top cancelled engineering exams with admissions through 12th marks

VITEEE 2020

Vellore Institute of Technology announced at its official website that VITEEE 2020 will not be conducted this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the entrance examination has been cancelled, B.Tech 2020 admissions will now be done on the basis of 10+2th qualifying exam scores in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. However, students having JEE Main score will be given weightage. As of now, the counselling dates have not been announced by the authorities. Registered candidates have been requested to submit their 10+2th marks in online mode. The final date to apply for admissions is July 31, 2020.

SRMJEEE 2020

SRM Institute of Science and Technology has also cancelled SRMJEEE 2020. The authorities have declared that the admissions will now be done on the basis of +2 / Pre-University / Equivalent marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. Since there will be no entrance examination, a merit list will be released by the authorities and counselling will be conducted for allotment of seats into the campuses offered B.Tech admissions.

CUSAT CAT 2020

Cochin University of Science and Technology has cancelled CUSAT CAT 2020. The examination was earlier expected to be conducted on July 27 and 28, 2020. No updates have been provided regarding the admission process and new information will soon be released by the authorities.

GEEE 2020

Galgotias University has notified the candidates that no entrance examination will be conducted for B.Tech 2020 admissions. Candidates will be allotted as per their performance in 12th board exams. The registration process is open till further notice and not other information has been given by the authorities.

SAEEE 2020

Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology has cancelled the entrance examination for B.Tech 2020 admissions. Candidates will now be able to apply for admissions on the basis of their marks secured in the qualifying examination (10+2 / HSC / CBSE / ICSE or equivalent examination).
