Haryana B.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2018
The eligibility criteria of Haryana B.Tech 2018 defines certain parameters on the basis of which candidates will be shortlisted for admission. The Haryana B.Tech admission eligibility criteria 2018 will consider candidates for admission on the basis of their qualifying exam subjects and scores (depending on their category) and JEE Main scores.
These parameters of Haryana B.Tech admission 2018 eligibility will differ for regular candidates, Kashmiri migrants (KM), Haryana Government School Topper and candidates applying under Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme.

For B.Tech
Candidates must have passed 10+2 or any other equivalent examination with minimum 45% marks from a recognized board or university with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects – Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Biology/ Technical Vocational subject. Candidates belonging to reserved categories like SC need to have 42.75 % to be eligible.
For B.Tech in Biotechnology
Candidates must have passed 10+2 or any equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics or Biology as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects – Chemistry, Bio-Tech., Computer Science.
Haryana B.Tech Admission Procedure 2018 for KM, HGST & TFW category candidates
The Kashmiri Migrants will get supernumerary seats on the basis of inter-se merit of qualifying examination. The percentage will be calculated on the basis of scores of Maths, Physics, English and any one of the following subjects (whichever is highest): - Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational. Kashmiri Migrants will be required to produce their original certificate of Migration duly signed by the competent authority or Relief commissioner.
Haryana Govt. School Topper (HGST) category candidates will get seats in each branch in the Govt./ Aided/ University Department/ Private institutes offering B.Tech programmes on the basis of inter se merit of 10+2 of 2018 out of each topper (having minimum second division i.e. 50% marks in aggregate) of Govt. Senior Secondary School offering Science Stream (having minimum 5 students on roll in the Science stream), subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria. The candidates will have to produce a certificate in support of their claim from the Principal/ Headmaster of the Govt. School of which the candidate has topped.
Tuition Fee Waiver category candidates for B.Tech will also get supernumerary seats. Haryana B.Tech 2018 admission under AICTE Scheme of Tuition Fee Waiver is meant for economically weaker students. These seats will be filled for all institutions approved by the council, on the basis of JEE Main 2018 counselling.

Step 4 - Submission of the Haryana B.Tech application and choice filling
After filling all the details, candidates will be required to click on the continue button before proceeding.

Haryana B.Tech 2018 Application Fee
Candidates will have to pay the requisite application fee while submitting the application form of Haryana B.Tech admission 2018, otherwise their form will be considered as incomplete and hence will be rejected eventually. The prescribed application fee for Haryana admission application form 2018 is Rs 200 (only for KM, TFW & HGST category candidates) and has to be paid through e-challan, debit/ credit card or net banking. While paying through e-challan, candidates will have to take a print out of the e-challan and deposit it on the next day of generation in any branches of Punjab National Bank or Axis Bank. It is important for candidates to note that application fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances and service
charges will be charged for using online payment gateway.
Haryana B.Tech Merit List 2018
The merit list of Haryana B.Tech 2018 will be released in online mode by HSTES. Haryana B.Tech 2018 merit will be prepared on the basis of JEE Main scores of the candidates and will be published for each category. Candidates will be invited for counselling and seat allotment procedure on the basis of Haryana B.Tech merit list 2018.
Haryana B.Tech Cutoff 2018
The cutoff of Haryana B.Tech 2018 will be the minimum marks required for admission to the institute and course.
