Admission Procedure
Students are admitted to the engineering courses on the basis of national level entrance test. Students who have passed the entrance test will be eligible for admission. After clearing the test, students need to appear the counselling round for seat allotment.

Students desirous for admission in first year undergraduate engineering programme are required to apply for national level entrance test namely Joint Entrance Examination Main No state level entrance test is conducted in Madhya Pradesh for B.Tech admission. For admission in IIT Indore, students have to appear the JEE Advanced examination.

B.Tech Admission
Students who are aplying for B.Tech admission can check the eligibility criteria from here:
Minimum qualification required to apply for undergraduate engineering courses is 12th passed from the recognized board.
Candidates who are appearing the qualifying examination (12th) are also eligible to apply.
The qualifying examination should be studied with Physics, Mathematics and any one of the Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subjects.
Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination with minimum 45% marks (40 % in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) are eligible to apply.
Selection Procedure
Students will get admission into B.Tech programme on the basis of marks secured in entrance test and in qualifying examination. The students having good rank will be invited for the counselling round. During the counselling round, students can exercise the choices and preferences for colleges and branch. Seats are allotted to the candidate’s on the basis of rank in entrance test, seat availability and choices filled. Candidates can confirm their seats by reporting to the prescribed college within specified dates.
