In Chhattisgarh, admission in undergraduate engineering courses is offered through state level or national level entrance test. B.Tech Admission

For B.Tech admission in Chattisgarh, it is must for the candidates to apply either for CG PET or JEE Main exam. Students can fill the application form of CG PET  from the third week of March. The application form of JEE Main  will be released in the first week of December . The eligibility criteria required for applying is as follows:

The prescribed qualification for B.Tech admission is 10+2 passed with Physics, Mathematics as a compulsory subjects and one of the elective subject from Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/technical subject.
In qualifying examination, students have to obtain minimum 45% marks for general category candidates and 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC and physically disabled candidates.
Appearing candidates may also apply.
Candidates applying for CG PET should have domicile certificate of Chhattisgarh state.
Selection Procedure
To take admission in B.Tech programme of Chhattisgarh students have to appear CG PET or JEE Main exam. Admission in the state quota seats of Chhattisgarh is done through CG PET where as admission into all India quota seats is based on JEE Main.  Seat allotment will be done through counselling. To appear in the counselling round, firstly students have to register themselves in counselling website. Seat allotment will be purely based on candidate’s rank in entrance test, seat availability and choices filled by the candidates.
