The UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) is a state level examination of Uttar Pradesh organized by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. Mostly colleges in Uttar Pradesh give admissions through the UPSEE examination. Some colleges also offer admissions through JEE Main national level exam.

Students are required to qualify the UPSEE or JEE Main entrance examination with good rank. Students will be shortlisted for the counselling procedure on the basis of merit list. After counselling process, students will get seat allotted for admission on the basis of choices filled by the candidates, category and seat availability.
